"Sea of Dreams" President and Vice President Luncheon 2019

SWHCC Executive Board, Chapter Presidents/Vice Presidents and Council Committee Chairs got together for a Luncheon at Landry's. They played games and heard reports from the Council Executive Board Members, Council Committees Chairs and Chapter Presidents. They all had fun preparing for the coming sorority year.


Legacy Tea 2019

SWHCC held their first Legacy Tea at Tea for Two. We have nine young ladies in our SWHCC Legacy Program that consist of Daughters and Granddaughters of SWHCC members.


"A Quilt Of Friendship" Founder's Day 2019

SWHCC celebrated Founder's Day at the Club at Falcon Point members enjoyed a delicious lunch. SWHCC President was presented with a gift from Council. Our Chapter Women of the Year and Sister with Something Extra were announced and honored. Flat Rose awards were given and Quilt presentations were given by chapters. Members of the upcoming Council Board were introduced and installed. Entertainment was performed by "Grandma's Boyfriends Barbershop Quartet."


"Viva Las Vegas" Sweetheart Ball 2019

SWHCC members honored their 2018 Sweethearts with a "Viva Las Vegas" Ball at the Whitehall Hotel. Members dressed in their glitz and glamour for the evening. The evening started with a social cocktail hour and proceeded with dinner. Members enjoyed the night dancing and playing casino games to win tickets for prize drawings throughout the evening. Everyone had a great time!


Harvest of Memories 2018

SWHCC members celebrated the Holiday season with an Fall Luncheon at the Sweetwater Country Club. Members mingled prizes were given away and members enjoyed a how to demonstration on decorating for the holiday season from the very creative Dan Peterson with From the Heart of Texas.

   

President and VP Luncheon 2018

SWHCC Presidents and Vice Presidents got together for a Luncheon at Grazia Italian Kitchen. They played games and had much fun as they get ready for the coming sorority year.


"In Touch With Tomorrow" Founder's day 2018

SWHCC celebrated Founder's Day at the Houston Racquet Club members enjoyed a delicious lunch. Outgoing President was honored with a Jewel Ritual and presented with a gift from Council for being President this past sorority year. Our Chapter Women of the Year and Sister with Something Extra were announced and honored. Entertainment was performed by Barbara Jennings as she danced and sang songs from famous Broadway Musicals.


"Masquerade Gala" Sweetheart Ball 2018

SWHCC members honored their 2018 Sweethearts with a Masquerade Gala at the Wyndham Houston West Hotel. Members dressed in their formal attire wearing a mask. The evening started with a cocktail hour in Club X bar members proceeded to the ballroom for dinner and danced the nigh away. Silent auction was held and our Chapter Sweethearts were announced and honored. The evening ended with a after party and members were served breakfast.

      

"SWHCC December Council Meeting 2017"

December Council meeting was held at the Holiday Inn Southwest and included an Ugly Sweater theme. In addition to the meeting, members enjoyed dinner and a lively game of LCR.

 

"Saturday Night Fever" Open Meeting 2017

SWHCC members celebrated the beginning of the sorority year with a Saturday Night Fever party at Clancy's Public House. They had a groovy time with a market and a costume contest for the best dressed 70's outfit. 


President and Vice President Luncheon 2017

SWHCC Presidents and Vice Presidents got together for a Lady in Red party at Sandy McGee's. They played games and had much fun as they get ready for the coming sorority year.


"Hearts and Roses Southern Soiree" Founder's Day 2017

SWHCC members celebrated Founder's Day at Heaven on Earth. Installation of the 2017-2018 Executive Board was performed and outgoing President was presented with a gift from Council. Chapter Women of the Year and Sister With Something Extra were announced and honored. Members also, enjoyed a performance by the Salvation Army Harbor Light Choir and donated to their organization for our service project.


"Diamonds Are Forever" Sweetheart Ball

SWHCC members honored their 2017 Sweethearts with a Diamonds are Forever Ball at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Hotel. Members dressed in their glitz and glamour for the evening. The evening started with a cocktail hour before the Ball, enjoyed dinner music and danced the night away. Silent auction was held and the night ended with a after party breakfast.


"Fiesta de Corazon" Open Meeting 2016

SWHCC members celebrated the beginning of sorority year with a Fiesta at Cross Key Acres in Richmond. Members enjoyed the evening mingling with one another to complete their Bingo cards. They enjoyed some delicious Mexican food and finished the evening with a game of Jeopardy. It was amazing to see how competitive some of our members can be.


Patriotic Hearts Summer Event 2016

SWHCC sisters wore red, white and blue as we celebrated the USA! Flags were waving and our pride was high as we dined on hamburgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings. We were entertained by playing Patriotic Bingo and competing for prizes by answering American History trivia questions. We all ended this fun party by joining in and singing Patriotic Songs.


Hampton's Spring Fling 2016

SWHCC members were excited  and thrilled to participate and give back to the Hampton's by helping out with their Spring Fling. Member's volunteered by welcoming guest, helped serve lunch and assist residents and families during the event. This was a service project for SWHCC member's and a way to pay back our Thanks to the Hampton's for allowing us to use their facility.


"Founder's Day Celebrating Our Heritage Your Forever Friends 2016"

SWHCC members celebrated Founder's Day at Churrascos. Installation of the 2016 - 2017 Executive Board was performed outgoing President was presented with a gift from Council. Chapter Women of the Year and Sister With Something Extra were announced and honored. Members also, celebrated a member that achieved the Golden Circle and a Memorial Service was held honoring a beloved member.


"The Black and Bling" Sweetheart Ball 2016

 SWHCC members honored their 2016 Sweethearts with a Texas Cowboy and Cowgirl Ball at the Hilton Inn at Westchase Hotel with a cocktail hour prior before the Ball. Members enjoyed some authentic and rustic Cowboy fare and boot scooted the night away!


"Christmas Victorian Tea" 2015

SWHCC members celebrated the Holiday season with an Victorian Tea at Katy Cane Island. Members mingled prizes were given away and a very interesting presentation was given on the Women of the Victorian Era and how they could hold a complete conservation through simple movements of a hand fan.   

 

SWHCC members celebrated Open Meeting at Quail Valley Golf Club. Members dressed in their Halloween costumes and endulged in a south of the border buffet and had fun singing karaoke throughout the evening.

 

"Celebrating Our Heritage" Founder's Day 2015
SWHCC members celebrated Founder's Day at Carmelo's Ristorante. Installation of the 2015-2016 Executive Board was performed and outgoing President was presented with a gift from Council. Chapter Women of the Year and Sister With Something Extra were announced and honored. Members also, celebrated a member that achieved thirty years of perfect attendance and announced a new member of the Golden Circle of Friendship.

 

"Some Enchanted Evening A Cinderella Gala"

SWHCC members honored their 2015 Sweethearts with a Cinderalla Gala at the Marriott Westchase Hotel. Ball started with a cocktail hour and proceeded with dinner and dance. Members danced the night away until the stroke of midnight.


"Home For the Holidays" Holiday Tea 2014

SWHCC member Duang Putnam opened her beautiful home to members to celebrate the Holiday season. Members mingled, ate great food and desserts and played games. For a service project members donated toiletry items to fill gift bags that were donated to the Fort Bend County Women's Center.


"Fabulous  50's" Open Meeting 2014

SWHCC members celebrated the beginning of sorority year with a 50's theme at Another Time Soda Fountain in Rosenberg. Members had fun drag racing matchbox cars, participated in a a bubble gum blowing contest and a hula hoop contest. A great time was had by all and ended with dancing to some great music from the 50's.


"Light Up Your Life" Founder's Day 2014

SWHCC members celebrated Founder's Day at Braeburn County Club. Chapter "Women of the Year" and "Sister with Something Extra" were announced and honored. Outgoing President was presented with a gift from Council and 2014 -2015 Executive Board was announced. Member's participated in a Chapter Scrapbook and Yearbook contest.


"Fire and Ice" Sweetheart Ball 2014

SWHCC members honored their 2014 Sweethearts with a "Fire and Ice" theme at Safari Texas. Ball started wih a cocktail hour and proceeded with a dinner in the ballroom. Members danced the night away and participated in a silent auction. 

 

SWHCC members celebrated the beginning of sorority year with a brazialian lunch at the Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse. Guest were invited to learn about Beta Sigma Phi and attendees shopped at a Holiday Craft Market.  

 

President Ellie O'Dell invited the incoming 2013 - 2014 Presidents, Vice Presidents and Committee Chairs to a pajama party. They had fun playing a few games and enjoyed some great food as they get ready for the upcoming sorority year.

 

"You're Among Friends" Founder's Day 2013

SWHCC members celebrated Founder's Day at Safarie Texas in Richmond. Installation of the 2013 - 2014 Executive Board was performed. Chapter "Women of the Year" and "Sister with Something Extra" were announced and honored. Outgoing President was presented with a gift from Council.

 

"A Night at the Moulin Rouge" Sweetheart Ball 2013

 SWHCC members honored their 2013 Sweethearts with "A Night at the Moulin Rouge" theme at the Renaissance Hotel. Ball started with a cocktail hour and proceeded with dinner in the ballroom. Members danced the night away and participated in a silent auction, also had a surprise performance of Can Can Dancers.

 

 

 


CHAPTER EVENTS AND SOCIALS

PN Installation & Beginning Day 2016

Preceptor Nu had their Officer Installation and Rirual for the 2016 - 2017 sorority year on August 16, 2016. The Officer Installation was held at the Quail Valley City Centre. They continued to celebrate later that week with a "Hearts & Roses" Beginning Day starting with cocktails at the Marriott in Sugar Land Town Square, dinner at Escalante's and ended the evening with a beautiful Heart shaped cake for dessert.


XPG Socials 2015 - 2016

Xi Phi Gamma was busy this past sorority year they enjoyed many socials through out the year.  Here are just a few pictures from the socials they enjoyed like, flying high, cooking dinner, enjoying some music and a girl's weekend.

  

"Beginning Day 2015"

Members celebrated Beginning Day in many ways while receiving their Chapter Yearbooks for the coming sororityyear. 

 

XAZ "Wild About Wine" 2015

Xi Alpha Zeta invited their SWHCC sorority sisters and friends to their annual summer fundraiser "Wild About Wine"  at the Braman Winery on June 20, 2015. Attendees received a decorated wine glass with wine of their choice, an appetizer lunch, and chances to win door prizes. There were also many different themed raffle baskets filled with gift items up for grabs. "Walmart Wendy" made a special appearance to emcee the event and also raffle off lottery tickets. The XAZ sisters had a lot of fun hosting this event and enjoyed seeing their SWHCC sisters having a lot of fun at the event, too!  

 

Members celebrating beginning Day and received their Chapter Yearbooks.

 

"XAZ Summer Luncheon 2013"

Xi Alpha Zeta held their annual Summer Luncheon with a "Summer Daze and Summer Lights" theme which included a silent auction to raise money for their Chapter's yearly service project .

 

"A Trip To Bountiful 2013"

Preceptor Nu enjoyed a fantastic trip "Back In Time" with the ladies of Alpha Theta Master. The theme for the day was " A Trip to Bountiful..." Which was announced in the previously sent invitations. There was down home cooking and down home entertaining...Meatloaf was on the menu with all the trimmings... including dessert and sweet tea. During lunch, each ATM Sister talked about times from "yesteryear." Each of the PN ladies wore their aprons and served each guest. The very appreciative guest also received VERY OLD COOKBOOKS with recipes from the past. To complete the day, PN sisters, Janis Turocy presented a dramatic dialogue on quilting. They all hated to see the day end...and hope to travel again to another NOSTALGIC TIME AND PLACE.  

 

"A Wine Tasting Party 2013"

Member's of Xi Alpha Zeta entertained Xi Phi Gamma with a wine tasting party. Many different wines were tasted along with some great food.  

 

 "Cowgirl and Champagne Joint Social"

The ladies of Preceptor Nu entertained Xi Alpha Zeta... they partied like The Old West was still alive. and going strong at the "Cowgirl and Champagne Joint Social." The decoration throughout were cowgirl motif in pink and black. The time flew by and the sisters had to say goodbye and the pink and black clad sisters with hats in hand rode off into the Western Sunset. The ladies of PN will look back and smile as they recall how much fun an afternoon was when the ladies of XAZ came to visit and for awhile... THE WEST WAS STILL A LITTLE WILD!!!       

 

Members of Preceptor Nu along with their Beta Buddies revealed their 2012 Sweetheart Janis Turocy while celebrating at Taqueria Mexicano Bar and Grill in Sugar Land on December 9.  

 

"Killing for the Crown" Murder and Mayhem 2012

BLP entertained XPG with a murder mystery. There was murder and mayhem at the Miss America Pageant and members had a great time figuring out who the killer was.

 

PN November 2011 Social

Members of Preceptor Nu gathered at the Meeks Ranch for a fun filled evening. They had a cook out, played games and went on a hay ride.

 

XPG Bandera Girls Getaway 2011

Members of XPG traveled to the Hill Country with stops at Helotes, Boerne and Bandera for a fun filled weekend.

 

XAZ September Meeting

Members met at Jeanne Murray's home and enjoyed omelets in a bag for dinner with mimosas. Jeanne shared her Hersey Bar from Hersey, PA that she won at the last South West Houston City Council meeting. 

 

Murder By Chocolate

XAZ attended and participated in the Murder by Chocolate murder mystery at the Castle in Bellville Texas.
